A tutorial on how I colour hair. (in paint tool SAI) ..this is basically what I do.
UGH sorry if this is crap, Ive been really busy lately and Im by no means a tutorial making master, thats why if you have any questions feel free to ask and Ill happily answer them.

I love those nice clean shade lines thanks for sharing, this is the technique I was looking for. The new ones also nice but this one is more of my style.

Oh wow! learn something new everyday! haha I had no idea about the whole transparency / gradient tool thing. I feel like a derp because I would add those in manually!
Thanks for the lovely tutorial! you have such a great way of explaining things in easy terms for people like me to understand! XD!

I shall have to try a few of these steps myself!

aww im really glad it helps :) i think in the future ill probably redo this tutorial, cause looking at it now i think there are several things i would want to put into it :)

What brush,and size did you use to make the strands so smooth? mine are always ending up too shaky.

O, in sai, and some other programs, there's a stabilizer which helps you make smoother lines :)
